The Challenge
Nestlé IT teams struggled to create employee-centric solutions. UX was often introduced late in the development process, resulting in tools that were functional but lacked intuitive design. Teams were task-focused and overlooked the broader impact of their solutions on employee experiences.
Business Objective

The objective was to embed a design mindset within IT teams, enabling them to shift from a product-based to a service-oriented approach. This transformation aimed to ensure solutions aligned with employee needs and foster continuous improvement through user-centered practices.

Our Approach
Behavioral frameworks were employed to design a workshop strategy that targeted mindset shifts and long-term behavior change. The workshops combined co-creation activities, value proposition mapping, and experiential learning to help participants understand the user journey and their role in improving it. Follow-ups and feedback loops reinforced learning, while success metrics were defined to measure progress and impact over time.
Project Impact

The initiative resulted in a 10% increase in UX-related project requests and earlier involvement of UX experts in project lifecycles. Leaders began prioritizing user impact over feature deployment, embedding user-centered thinking into their processes. Future efforts will focus on scaling this approach globally and integrating additional tools for measuring the effectiveness of UX interventions.
