The Challenge
Nestlé employees faced significant inefficiencies in managing tasks due to fragmented tools, inconsistent workflows, and a lack of centralized platforms. The challenge was further compounded by balancing project and maintenance tasks, fragmented information across channels, and unclear task prioritization methods. Teams were using mixed methodologies (Agile and Waterfall), leading to inefficiencies and confusion.
Business Objective

The goal was to enhance the digital task management experience by developing a unified approach that consolidates tools, improves task visibility, and simplifies workflows. The project aimed to align with Nestlé’s Future of Work initiative by maximizing individual efficiency, fostering collaboration, and providing actionable insights to guide tool selection.

Our Approach
The project began with interviews and surveys involving 148 employees to uncover key pain points and opportunities in task management. Personas and journey maps were developed to understand employee needs and experiences. Collaborative workshops with stakeholders helped prioritize pain points and co-create solutions such as a centralized task management platform, AI-powered task automation, and better tool integration. Structured onboarding, training, and communication campaigns were implemented to drive adoption and standardize practices across teams.
Project Impact

The initiative streamlined task management, reducing task overlap by 30% and improving efficiency by 20%. AI-powered solutions enabled teams to prioritize tasks 20% faster, enhancing planning and execution. Over 70% of employees adopted integrated digital tools, replacing fragmented systems and fostering a more collaborative work environment.
